These Terms of Service govern your use of services provided by Bilal Web Studio. By engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
Services Provided
Bilal Web Studio offers web development and digital marketing services, including WordPress development, Shopify development, and search engine optimization. Services are delivered according to the specifications outlined in your project proposal or service agreement.
Client Responsibilities
You must provide all required materials within the agreed timeframes. This includes content, images, branding assets, login credentials, and feedback. Delays in providing materials will extend project timelines.
You must review and approve deliverables within the specified review period. Failure to respond within 7 business days constitutes approval of the deliverable.
You are responsible for maintaining backups of your website after project completion. While we implement backup solutions, you retain ultimate responsibility for your data.
Payment Terms
- Project-Based Services: A 50% deposit is required before work begins. The remaining 50% is due upon project completion and before final delivery.
- Monthly Services: Payment is due on the first day of each month. Services begin after the first payment clears. Late payments may result in service suspension.
- Additional Work: Work outside the original scope requires a separate agreement and payment. Hourly rates for additional work are £75 per hour unless otherwise specified.
All prices are in British Pounds (£) and exclude VAT where applicable.
Refund Policy
Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced. If you cancel a project mid-development, you will be charged for work completed up to the cancellation date.
Monthly service fees are non-refundable. You must provide 30 days’ notice to cancel recurring services.
Revisions and Changes
Each service package includes a specified number of revisions. Additional revisions beyond the agreed amount will be charged at £50 per hour.
Major scope changes require a new agreement and additional payment. We will provide a revised quote before proceeding with scope changes.
Project Timelines
Timeline estimates are provided in good faith but are not guarantees. Delays caused by client feedback, material provision, or third-party services are not our responsibility.
We will notify you of any anticipated delays as soon as possible and work to minimize the impact on your timeline.
Intellectual Property
- Client Content: You retain all rights to content, images, and materials you provide. You grant us a license to use these materials solely for your project.
- Our Work Product: Upon full payment, you receive ownership of the final deliverables. This includes custom code, designs, and content created specifically for your project. We retain rights to pre-existing code libraries, frameworks, and templates used in your project. You receive a license to use these components as part of your website.
- Portfolio Rights: We reserve the right to display your project in our portfolio and marketing materials unless you request confidentiality in writing.
Third-Party Services
Some projects require third-party services like hosting, domain registration, premium plugins, or stock images. You are responsible for all third-party costs unless otherwise agreed.
We are not liable for issues arising from third-party services, including downtime, security breaches, or service discontinuation.
Website Maintenance and Support
Support periods are specified in your service package. After the support period ends, ongoing maintenance is available at our monthly rates.
Emergency support outside business hours may incur additional charges.
We provide support for the work we have completed. Support for third-party modifications or plugins installed after project delivery may be charged separately.
SEO Services Disclaimer
SEO results depend on many factors outside our control, including search engine algorithm changes, competitor actions, and market conditions. We do not guarantee specific rankings or traffic levels.
We use only white-hat SEO techniques compliant with search engine guidelines. Results typically appear within 3-6 months, but timelines vary by industry and competition.
Warranties and Limitations
We warrant that our work will be performed professionally and will function as described in your agreement. This warranty is valid for 30 days after project delivery.
We do not warrant that your website will be error-free or uninterrupted. We are not liable for issues caused by factors outside our control, including hosting problems, user error, or third-party services.
Limitation of Liability
Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for those services. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
We are not responsible for loss of profits, data, or business opportunities resulting from our services or any service interruption.
Confidentiality
We will not disclose your confidential information to third parties without your permission, except as required by law or necessary to provide services.
Information already public, independently developed, or received from third parties without confidentiality obligations is not considered confidential.
Termination
Either party may terminate services with written notice. You remain responsible for the payment of work completed up to the termination date.
We reserve the right to terminate services immediately if you breach these terms, provide false information, or engage in abusive behavior toward our team.
Disputes and Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing legal action.
If legal action becomes necessary, you agree to resolve disputes in the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Updated terms apply to services purchased after the update date. We will notify active clients of material changes via email.
Continued use of our services after term updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
